INTUITIVE INTERACTIONS
FOR THE IOT

FlexSenseTM

The FlexSense family of sensor processors captures and intelligently processes inputs from up to four sensors in a tiny, ultra-low-power form factor that is up to 80% smaller than existing solutions. Integrating combinations of capacitive, inductive, Hall effect and ambient sensing modalities into a single processor, the FlexSense family brings practical sensor fusion to IoT devices—at scale. With FlexSense, developers can now embed intuitive, context-aware end-user experiences in applications such as true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds, gaming and VR controllers, wearables, remote controls, smart home devices and automotive.

Features & Benefits

  • Tiny Form Factor
Combines low-latency capacitive, inductive, and Hall effect sensing to detect proximity, touch, slide, and force in a single package measuring 1.62 x 1.62 mm.
  • 超低Power
Tailored hardware and software functional partitioning, optimized front end signal conditioning and digitization, and context-aware dynamic sensing that switches between power modes combine to achieve 240 µW power (typical); sleep mode is just 10 µW.
  • Highly Configurable
Best-in-class tools designed for easy sensor calibration and configuration to facilitate rapid time to market.
  • Low System BOM
Holistic approach to multi-modal sensing for IoT devices lowers overall system bill of material (BOM).
